We manage almost 2000 ha of land with over 1000 cheviot sheep and around 50 cows belonging to individual shareholders in the townships of Fiskavaig, Portnalong, and Fernilea.

The Sheep Stock Club was established in 1924 - almost 100 years of communal upland hill farming managing two hefted flocks of North Country Cheviot sheep.
The Hydro Company LTD was established in 2014 as a diversification project to install a 50kW micro-hydro to produce renewable energy from the Huisgill burn above Talisker Bay utilising the 74m waterfall and copious amounts of Scottish rain!

North Talisker are working with ecologists and SNH to monitor the sea eagle population on and around the land we manage. This adult in flight has reared two chicks, one was seen in the nest today and one is thought to have already fledged. 22/07/2020
